Terms of Service

1. The service

Pastel (pastel.wtf) is a browser tool for designing user interfaces with the Obsidian UI library for Roblox. It previews the interface and turns it into Lua code, and it reads Lua code back into the editor. There is no account. By using Pastel you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

2. Your work

• Projects you build and the Lua code Pastel generates for you belong to you. Use, change, share or sell them as you like.
• Your projects are stored only in your browser (see the Privacy Policy). Keep your own copies of anything important; clearing browser data deletes them.
• The Pastel name, logo and mascot belong to Pastel and may not be used to suggest that something is made or endorsed by Pastel.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use Pastel to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• build software that steals accounts or data, spreads malware, harasses people or damages other players' experience;
• overload, attack or copy the site in a way that harms its availability.

You are responsible for the scripts you create and run, and for where you run them.

4. Roblox, Obsidian and other third parties

• Pastel is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Roblox Corporation, deivid (author of the Obsidian library) or mspaint. Roblox is a trademark of Roblox Corporation.
• Using Roblox is governed by the Roblox Terms of Use and the rules of each experience. Running third-party scripts or executors may break those rules and can lead to account action by Roblox. That risk is yours.
• The generated code loads the Obsidian library (MIT license) at run time. Pastel also uses Lucide icons (ISC), luaparse (MIT) and Google Fonts (Open Font License). These remain under their own licenses.

5. No warranty

Pastel is provided "as is" and "as available". We aim for the preview to match Roblox pixel for pixel, but the Obsidian library can change at any time, so we don't guarantee that the preview, the generated code or the code import are complete, correct or work for your purpose.

6. Liability

Pastel is a free service. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost data, lost profits, or account actions taken by Roblox or any game. Liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health, remains unaffected. Mandatory consumer rights in your country stay in force.

7. Changes and availability

Pastel may change, pause or end at any time. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
